So am I, which is why I instantly clicked on this link to a 90-second clip from “Snakes on a Plane.” Gaboon vipers have big, big teeth. Ask the captain.

Jackman. Bale. Caine. Nolan. Need I say more?
Touchstone Pictures has finally released the trailer for the new drama about two rivaling magicians, and it looks to be one of the best films of 2006. The idea is original and the cast is superb. Check out the trailer now, and then come back to post your opinions.
You could wait for “Superman Returns” to see the new teaser trailer for the third Spider-Man flick, but if you consider yourself a true fanboy, be sure to hop on over to Apple.com and check out the advanced screener RIGHT NOW. Here’s a few things you’ll see:
1) Tobey Maguire rockin’ the all-new black Spidey suit
2) Proof that the suit is indeed controlled by the infamous alien symbiote (Venom baby!)
3) Thomas Hayden Church (as the Sandman) in all his CGI goodness
And last, but certainly not least…
4) James Franco as the new Green Goblin
Unfortunately, no shots of Venom were revealed (except a quick shot of Topher Grace as Eddie Brock), but do you seriously expect Sony to release any shots of one of the most famous comic book villains a whole YEAR before the film is released? I didn’t think so. Anyways, check it out now at http://www.apple.com/trailers/sony_pictures/spider-man_3/ and then stop back here to post your thoughts.
…the new “Spider-Man 3” teaser trailer is up.

Finally, we get to see Thomas Haden Church as the Sandman, Topher Grace as Eddie Brock, and what would appear to be a revisitation of that god-awful Green Goblin armor…though I presume it’s supposed to be James Franco (Harry Osbourne) in it this time around. (And given how Hollywood loves to rewrite comic book canon, they’re probably calling him the Hobgoblin, even though I’m pretty sure Harry was never the Hobgoblin.)
Looks awesome. Shame we have to wait ’til May of next year to see the damned movie, though.
In case you missed it during the West Wing finale last night, NBC aired this trailer for its high-profile new Aaron Sorkin project, “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.”
The trailer doesn’t reveal too much, but with this much talent both in front of and behind the camera, and NBC’s clearly significant support for the show, “Studio 60” should be a winner next fall…as long as Sorkin can keep his nose clean.
