Count to “Nine” with Rob Marshall’s latest

Musical theater not your thing? Yeah, us neither. But then, most musicals haven’t been, uh, endowed with the bevy of babes that makes up much of the cast of Rob Marshall’s “Nine” — a list that includes Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson, and Fergie — or, for that matter, the combined acting might of Daniel Day-Lewis and Judi Dench. It’s from the guy who directed “Chicago,” so you know your significant other is probably going to twist your arm into seeing it, and you might as well get a taste of what you’re in for with this trailer — which just might leave you looking forward to November 25 (if only just a little). Check it out below, and don’t forget to follow Bullz-Eye’s coverage of “Nine”!

Anna Chlumsky is all grown up and “In the Loop”

Anna ChlumskyHey, what the hell has former “My Girl” star Anna Chlumsky been up to for the last 15 years? Judging from the just-released trailer for “In the Loop,” she’s been getting ready to star in a political comedy opposite James Gandolfini — which really isn’t as strange a prospect as it might seem.

Headed for theatrical release on July 24th, “In the Loop” is described in its official synopsis as “a smart comedy with razor-sharp, truly laugh-out-loud dialogue that pokes fun at the absurdity and ineptitude of our highest leaders. With everyone looking out for number one, and the fate of the free world at stake (but apparently incidental), the hilarious ensemble cast of characters bumbles its way through Machiavellian political dealings, across continents, and toward comic resolutions that are unforeseeable.” Ready to see more? Gerard Butler plays Neveldine/Taylor’s “Gamer”

“Gamer,” the latest action-packed thriller from Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (“Crank,” “Crank: High Voltage”), stars Gerard Butler as a death row inmate forced to compete for his life in the not-too-distant dystopian future. Like every other Neveldine/Taylor joint, it’s got all the high-speed set pieces and gratuitous nudity you’re looking for in a big-screen adventure. It won’t reach theaters until September, but catch a glimpse by watching the new trailer below — and be sure to follow Bullz-Eye’s “Gamer” coverage here!

Rob Zombie Celebrates “Halloween 2” Early

Rob Zombie steps behind the cameras again for the sequel to his “Halloween” reboot, the chillingly titled “H2,” hacking its way into theaters on August 28.
