Yeah, I probably don’t have to tell you how creepy seeing Kids Inc. cover “Physical” by Olivia Newton-John is after all these years, but just watch and cringe for yourself.
Here’s a funny, lovely, revenge-based video for all those guys who ever got screwed over by a bad girlfriend. Enjoy. It’s worth watching the full nine minutes.
I remember this Q&A vividly from my youth when Max Headroom started becoming a big time celeb. Yeah, the good old days. There was Max, and there was also Mac Tonight hawking late night Big Macs for McDonald’s. You remember him, right? Played a piano and had a big half moon for a head with shades. That’s another clip, though.
Finally, to wind up this classic cable TV block we have the video for Commander Cody’s “Two Triple Cheeseburgers, Side Order of Fries” as seen on Nickelodeon’s ’80s show “Turkey Television.” Basically, the show was somewhat of a spinoff of “You Can’t Do That On Television,” feautirng some of the same actors and actresses from that show such as Christine McGlade and Kevin Kubucheske. The majority of the show was given to weird cartoons, obscure and foreign music video clips (and if anyone can remember who the hell did the music for the song known as “K Goes Surfing” – a video shown on awful lot on this series, let me know), stand up comedy routines by the likes of Dana Carvey and Robin Williams, and cable access comedy shows. A werid brew, to be sure, but fun nonetheless.
