So here’s a new one, which I guess we’ll be seeing in theaters shortly. Not as funny and less “grindhouse” than prior cuts, but that’s to be expected as they try to sell this thing to younger action fans who might not get the Mexploitation references. I’m not even sure I get most of them. At least they left in Cheech Marin’s great line from all the other trailers.
By the way, I’m pretty sure that church is St. James Episcopal, which is located on Wilshire Boulevard — not really the roughest neighborhood in El Pueblo de la Reina de Los Angeles. Gotta love the movies.
