After doing the hokey-pokey on the subject for months, filmmaker and former “All in the Family” star Rob Reiner has officially taken both feet out of the political ring, stating that he will not seek the Democratic nomination for Governor of California in 2006.
Maybe it was the poll results indicating that 41% of the voting public viewed the liberal Democrat unfavorably…or maybe Reiner was just intimidated by his competition. After all, incumbent Arnold Schwarzenegger has an established track record defeating the T-1000, Predator, and an entire classroom full of kindergarteners. What chance does an aging hippie stand?
