Last night on “Hell’s Kitchen,” Gordon Ramsay was at his boisterous self, getting in contestants’ faces and ultimately showing that he has no tolerance for “quitters.”

Last week, Corey had played with fire by nominating Christina and Jen for elimination for “personal reasons,” and Ramsay ignored that and fired Sharon instead. So this week, Christina and Jen were not too nice to Corey.

The show started with chickens running around the dorms, and then Ramsay was about to chop one of their heads off, but stopped short. Whew, the folks at PETA were ready to hit “dial” and probably still did, even though Ramsay was joking with the contestants. But he did have them cut chickens up as their challenge of the day, and the ladies pretty much beat the guys’ collective ass. Craig was slow and ineffective, and the other guys didn’t appreciate it. Meanwhile, Jason kept up with his annoying sexist remarks throughout the whole show.

As punishment for losing the challenge, the guys had to go to a hot field and pick red peppers. Jason said he doesn’t do manual labor and that he is “chubby and out of shape” for a reason, because he likes to eat and doesn’t work out, ever. Yikes. Then they arrived back to the dorms and the women, who had been treated to lunch by Ramsay, were lounging around, some of them in bikinis in the hot tub. Corey said she was going to try and use her body to entice Ben into the hot tub and that didn’t work. But it worked for Mr. Bigot, Jason. The guys were pissed that he was making nice with the other team.

Then at the dinner service, Jason could not recite the dessert menu to Ramsay. When he went back and studied, only to come back and stammer, he was ready to quit right there. Ramsay pressured Jason because he knew he could do it, and he eventually came through.

During the service, the men were not really communicating and the women were just messing up a lot of things, including Vanessa almost burning the house down. As usual, Ramsay declared that there was no “winning” team. He picked Christina and Petrozza as the best of the worst, and each had to nominate a teammate for elimination.

Christina surprisingly did not pick Corey, but instead chose Vanessa, which really was the right choice. Petrozza picked Jason, and ultimately Ramsay sent Jason home because he remembered the guy almost giving up, and he just doesn’t have a place for quitters on his payroll.

So the chubby sexist dude is heading home, and I couldn’t be happier about it. I’m a dude through and through, but I have absolutely no tolerance for guys who belittle women like Jason did. See ya Jason, and see you all next week.
