“Sci-Fi.com has ordered a 10-part webisode series based on the multi-award-winning “Farscape” the fan and critical darling that has been widely recognized as one of the greatest sci-fi series in television history. Executive-produced by Brian Henson and Robert Halmi, Jr., and produced by The Jim Henson Company, in association with RHI Entertainment, the series will revive and expand the beloved “Farscape” universe.”

I could weep for joy at the possibility of seeing more Farscape. I will watch this no matter what!

It’s killing me not knowing what this series is going to be about or who is even going to be in it. John, Little D, Crais and Talyn…the possibilities are endless and, for once, I don’t know what I want. I love John Crichton but would it be the same to watch him kick Scarran butt with a wife and toddler in tow? And what if I don’t feel the same draw towards whomever they chose to play a grown up Little D if that be the case for the new series, which is what “new generation” comment sorta hints at to me. Aw frell it. Who am I kidding? I’d pay 20 bucks an episode just to see Farscape again.
If it doesn’t have the main characters, it’s not Farscape AFAIC. Farscape was about John Crichton and his adventures in a far part of the universe.
Anything else and it’s just Skiffy trying to milk the fans.
Anyway that’s my 3¢ worth.
I’ll watch. Anything Farscape will always get my attention. I’ll always watch.
But I’m with Joe. If it doesn’t have the main characters - and John Crichton in particular - then it’s not really Farscape. It’s a disappointment…
Well as long as it follows some of the characters we know it probably won’t be to bad, but I would prefer to know what happens to John. Though I’ll give anything farscape a chance.
I’d also prefer a full season (or more), but maybe this will clue ppl in that fans are still interested and will watch the show. Who knows the show died in 03′, came back for PK wars in 04′ and now in 07′ it’s back as a web. If fans are still fighting hard enough to get something you’d think people would realize it’s still popular.
Farscape was always an expensive series to produce. In the end, it never had enough viewers (numbers, not passion) to justify continued production. It’s just business, that’s all.
And since these will be webisodes, there’s no way any of the big names from the series will be involved. Look for stories that take place within the same Universe, with maybe a couple of references to the crew of the Moya.
I truly hope this is not just a rumor !!!

I hope that SciFi will develop further Farscape … becouse this series is really SciFi … and i expect SciFi from this channel …

I would love to see all the old crew again, but if that’s not possible then it would be great to explore a new perspective of the Farscape world (although hints and mentions of how Aeryn and John etc are getting on would be compulsory) I just want Farscape to come back so that it can fulfull the potential that we all know it has.

Yes I too will watch the show, You would think SCI-FI would get the picture and just put the show back on the air. Look how many people watched Stargate when Ben and Cluad came to the show. It was the only reason I watched Stargate in the end. If they do a good job with these, Support it and let SCI-FI know. This may get our beloved show back.

Farcape would not be Farscape without John and Aeryn. But, as it has been said, any Farscape is better than no Farscape. I, too watched SG-1 to see Ben and Claudia - they so totally rock!
John and Aeryn are musts without question, but where would John be without KaDargo kicking the Hezmanna out of everyone.

Um, D’Argo was a frelling great character - but his death was so noble and poignant that it’d be a huge mistake to resurrect him. Let sleeping Luxans lie.
Actually Farscape is the best scifi show, and if they do revive the show it would be total heaven.
However I think D’argo should be revived (how it happend would be a good start off point), he’s too good of a side kick to be kicked off.
Anywho I’m just glad they have (the powers to be) decided to listen to the ever growing fan base for a change, instead of the bean counters this time.

I think that the show should focus on the new D’argo (i.e. D’argo sun-crighton), if they can’t have Aeryn and Joh then I want to see how their kids got on…
But they could always ressurect D’argo, i mean, how many other characters have been ressurected in this show

Please, please, please, bring it back–in some way, shape or form!!! And when is this glorious event to begin??? I’ve been hearing about it for quite some time now; but, have yet to see a date set anywhere. And yes, Ben & Claudia are an absolute must!!! I was always a SG-1 fan; but, I must admit, it tickled me silly to see them brought on the show.
I think that the webisodes are not an bad idea.However, my opinion is that they should include the original character because FARSCAPE is all about them.The show wont be the same without those characters and the energy they bring into it.I love that series and i keep watching it over and over again and im going to watch the webisodes and i hope they will be more FARSCEPE on TV.
