* Via Anne Thompson @ AICN. 250 “very lucky” fans will get to see “Inglourious Basterds” here after all. And, as per Ms. Thompson, after “Spiderman 4,” Sam Raimi may do a movie version of the “World of Warcraft” game. If anyone can make the first good video game-derived movie, it would be Raimi.

* Nikki Finke is back in earnest and blogging like a house afire. Among items of interest to the PH crowd, even though I can’t watch it because the free wifi here seems to be slowish right where I am and at this moment, she’s got what appears to be an early peek of some sort at Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” (which actually appears to be all over the ‘net) and a “Watchmen” parody which name checks her. One or both may appear here as well at some point. Also, she’s got a more in-depth piece on film financing and a guy named Fred Milstein. It’s apparently possible that Milstein may help Terry Gilliam complete his long-in limbo “The Man Who Killed Don Quixote.”

* The Hollywood Reporter is doing a dedicated blog for Comic-Con. One item: a “Drawn Together” feature film. I’m not at all a fan of the animated Comedy Central TV show, and I only know one rather mild fan of it, so I’m super-skeptical on this one. And the premise sounds like a warmed over version of the now-classic “South Park” movie musical.

* People say this trailer for the upcoming “White Out” at Bloody Disgusting is good. Again, no clue here, but see for yourself, I guess.

* Seth Rogen says the villain in his and Michel Gondry’s “Green Hornet” will be scary.
