Cast changes have hurt “Reno 911!”
Wendi McLendon-Covey (Clementine), Mary Birdsong (Dep. Kimball) and Carlos Alazraqui (Dep. Garcia) are out, Joe Lo Truglio and Ian Roberts are in. Nothing against the new guys, but I miss Clemmy, Kimball and Garcia.
It has been tough to find out why “Reno 911!” is seemingly ruining a good thing, but McLendon-Covey posted this on her MySpace blog:
Since you asked….
Hi everyone!
Recently I’ve been asked the same questions over and over, so I thought I’d better just address the subject here so I don’t have to keep writing individual messages about it.
No, I’m not on Reno 911 anymore. No, I didn’t leave on my own. No, I didn’t see it coming. No, I wasn’t the only one who was dismissed. No, it wasn’t because we weren’t doing a good job – in this business you don’t necessarily get hired because you’re good, and you don’t necessarily get let go because you’re bad.
Yes, I was on the set of THE OFFICE when I found out.
Yes, I was disappointed at first, but as Sophia Loren used to say, “Don’t cry over anything that won’t cry over you.” Five seasons and a movie was a good run, and I’m surprised that it lasted that long. I’m grateful to have been a part of the show but believe me, it was really time to move on and play other types of weird women – maybe someone who wears a turtleneck!
We wrapped season 5 in April of 2007, so I’ve been away from the show for 2 years. It’s a distant, bittersweet memory now.
So thanks to all of you for liking my character! Thanks for being so sweet to me.
xoxoxoxox, Wendi
As for the newcomers, here’s what the show’s wiki page has on them…
Season six newcomers Joe Lo Truglio and Ian Roberts are no strangers to Reno 911. Both appeared as guest stars in past seasons, and both also appeared in Reno 911: Miami. As a member of “The State”, Lo Truglio is an old friend of the 3 creators and has worked with them on numerous projects. Roberts is a founding member of the popular Upright Citizens Brigade improv comedy troupe, who had their own Comedy Central sketch show from 1998-2000.
I miss the dynamic between Garcia and Dep. Jones, the questions about Dep. Kimball’s true sexuality and pretty much everything about Clemmy. I’m not sure what prompted the changes; in the case of Lo Truglio, it might be nepotism given that he is old friends with the creators. The additions have made the cast less diverse and it’s affecting the overall vibe.

Couldn’t agree more. The new cast isn’t bad, but part of what made Reno so great was that all of the characters meshed well together. I feel at times that Roberts tries to take over scenes, which is weird because he’s a newbie.
Hopefully the new characters can start to mesh and the show doesn’t lose much. If they added the two new cops it probably would have been fine. But losing those three and then trying to replace them with these two is completely odd.
i completely agree you. ====^
hopefully these to a catch on and don’t ruin the show.
This season is sucking pretty bad. A real letdown. I do miss Clemmie, Kimball and Garcia.
The timing is off, and the jokes are more obvious. They’ve lost the magic.
I wouldn’t say that it sucks, but the scenes with the new guys definitely aren’t as strong as the others.
The new cast and chemistry is way way off. It’s hard to watch the new seasons. I’m about ready to stop watching. The writing seems to lack quality too.
Well, that’s probably because there’s no writing at all. The entire show is improvised.
I’m sorry don’t get me wrong but I love RENO 911! The thing is that the reason I loved it so much was because the characters seemed as though they meshed well together. Now, it’s a totally different story. I happen to like Joe but not Ian as much. I feel as though instead of adding to male characters to the show they should have added more female characters because I don’t know about the rest of you but I seem to have laughed more with Wiegel, Kimball, Clementine, and Williams. If they decide to cast more people next season adding another female might make it better.
I liked the old cast; the new cast just is not doing it for me. I will not be watching the new Reno 911. Thank God for DVDs. Miss you Clemmie, Kimball and Garcia. Why did they mess up a good show???
This new season is disappointing. It’s not that I dislike the new characters, but the dynamics have changed, and the diversity of character interaction just isn’t there. In general, too, the humor seems to have moved primarily towards slapstick. In previous seasons, much of the humor seemed to come from awkward situational moments or non-pc interplay between the characters. The show now seems to be leaning towards slapstick and outright ‘wackiness’.
Totally! I really miss Kimball, Clemmy, and Garcia. They were gold. And the chemistry between everyone was so great. Why would they change all that? It’s so shortsighted.
I loved the show up till now. What a shame they had to mess with such a good mix. I tried to get into this season and its just not working for me. I guess I will stick with the reruns…
I have adored the original (first five seasons) shows. The concept, story lines and characters were comedic perfection. I never really knew what was going to be said or done and that is rare in today’s comedy shows & movies.
I truly miss the Clemmie, Garcia and Kimball.
I feel the current cast with newbies are visually struggling with their comedic timing. I also believe the newbies are making attempts to take past characters comedy quality or characteristics and blending them in to their delivery and it is just not working.
I’m quickly finding myself not eagerly awaiting new shows as the show’s once unique and precious qualities are going, going, going…gone?
The loss of Garcia and Clementine is one that will hurt the show in a big way. You cannot replace talent like that. Now, as clearly evidenced by the addition of Ian Roberts, who gives new definition to the meaning of the word “SUCK”, the show is going downhill and losing viewers. It’s simply not the same and this new guy Roberts is not even remotely funny. Incomeptent is more like it. Ditch this douchebag before the show gets dropped!
Agree – old cast was great. New season lacks humor.
Well we wanted to at least give a chance to season six and the newbies so we tuned into the first 5 episodes and find we just can not watch anymore. The show is just not as funny.
Personally, I’ve lost interest completely without Garcia and Clemmie on the show. It was obvious in season five that they were not using Garcia in as many scenes as in previous seasons. It probably was a bit of nepotism by the three creators when bringing in their old friend but I think they have really messed up their creation.
Who ever was responsible for making this change should be kicking themselves that they gave up on the talents of Carlos Alazraqui and Wendi McClendon-Covey. I wish the best for Carlos, Wendi and Mary Birdsong in finding many more fullfiling vehicles to showcase their talent.
I agree with Dawn totally–what had been my favorite show, with Garcia probably the best character and actor (how priceless to see him holding harmless neighborhood guy Mike face down on ground at gunpoint and yelling, “Get down! Get down!” like the doofs on Dateline NBC) now gone, I never watch new shows–only the reruns. What a tragedy.
dittos, i miss my white mexican! what ever happened to all the good shows. Arrested Development or Malcolm in the middle. well at least we have Southpark and Wes Anderson.
I didn’t even know there was a change ’til I caught a recent episode and said, “Where’s blondie?”. I remember thinking it was the dryest Reno I’ve ever seen. I’ve watched three more since then and have found them very UNentertaining. It’s like the newbies have no personality at all. Also, I’m finding that the comic set up that used to belong to just one character is now a staple for every character which makes it stale, predictable, and boring. Doubt I’ll ever see another episode again unless nothing else was on and I didn’t want to go to bed.
This is such a heartbreak. We loved this show and were so glad that it was back – however, it became very obvious that something was missing and I mean really missing. I hope no nephotism is involved as this will rip the show apart. I really am so upset, as is my family, that these changes were made it really is not worth watching any longer. Why something that was working so well has been changes is beyond us. I miss all of them but Clemmies departure is heartbraking. If they dare to let Niecy Nash go then it will really over. The loss of the three members of the cast was the most serious mistake they could have made and I think this will be the last season. I would really like to know the reasons for this terrible decisions.
Truly, this season is boring. The only true comedy is coming out of terry, the hustler. Last ngiht’s episode was the worst. The two new characters have no appeal and no character hook. Bye bye Reno 911. ;-(
i’ve seen niecy nash on other things and she’s always been funny, but not so much now on THIS season’s reno… Wiegel was my favorite character on the show, but even she’s been stupid-ified… in fact, the show’s become sickenly stupid…
Ugh…why mess with a good thing? The dismissal of Clemmie, Kimball and Garcia was a HUGE mistake. I truly have given the new cast a chance and the synergy just ISN’T there. The loss of Clemmie is particularly noticable – the sexual tension she brought to the briefing room is almost like an empty chair at the table. Moreoever, her slutty ways in the field was one of my favorite dynamics.
Kimball’s naivete and ambiguous sexuality was a refreshing injection to the cast. Though I was not as attached to her as Clemmie and Garcia, she meshed well with an established cast. This was no easy feat.
Garcia’s broiling misery and inadequacies were particularly entertaining. Jones seems lost without the ability to play off Garcia.
It’s not too late – bring them back!!!
Bring back Clementine , Garcia and Kimball ..I just can’t get into this season …
I was such a fan of Reno 911…my wife and I would watch every night. Now, it sucks. The show is horrible. It was more than just one cast member that made that show great…it was the entire cast. The additon of these two would have been enough to wreck the show, but removing Clemmie, Kimball and Garcia???? Are the producers idiots?
Yea, on this new season the jokes are obvious, the new characters aren’t doing it for me, and, it’s almost depressing. I shant be watching any longer, so as far as I’m concerned.
R.I.P.
Reno 911
You people are idiots. Ian Roberts is the master at deadpan delivery in improv, and the fact that he has successfully trained many actors is eviden. The fired actors were simply pigeonholed into stereotyped roles and were not talented enough to transcend the cliched characters they played. Fresh talent versed in improv was needed and the new members of the ensemble are a breath of fresh air that was needed to keep the show going forward. It was spinning its wheels for seasons four and five. The producers even announced the need for change when they started season five by having Lennon literally “jump the shark.”
There is no doubt in my mind that the cast changes have hurt this show. I’ve watched the entire season and it simply isn’t as funny as it once was, and the scenes with the two new actors feel forced.
Of course, this is just my opinion. If it makes me an idiot then so be it.
Reno 911! has officially “jumped the shark”. I hope everyone in AMerican stops watching it, forcing the creators to fire the new stiffs and bring back the original crew, including Deputy Kimball. She was jelling with the rest, too.
Lighten up Frizz, everyone has a right to appreciate what makes them laugh and not laugh and NOT be idiots.
Ian Roberts can be funny, I loved him in the Reno Miami Movie (him to Patton Oswald’s charater: “I need to know where you are at all times so I can avoid you’!) His bit in the cheerleading movie “Bring It On” is hilarious!
But in my opinion also, season six of Reno is just not as funny as it use to be. I thought the Murder Mystery bit was just dumb (I still can not believe Neicy Nash let herself do it!)
Alazraqui, McClendon, and Birdsong ARE talented… talented enough to move on gracefully from a failing series.
Does anyone REALLY believe that RENO is so “improved”?????….. they sure promote it that way but I think that show is very scripted, for the convenience of certain ones in favor. Lennon and Garant are writers for pete sake!
Will always love seasons 1-5.
The new guy is a criminal drug user. We get it. I feel like we are being beat over the head with it in case we didn’t pick it up on his first episode.
I love Thomas Lennon and will watch as long as he is on. The abrupt cut of the other three cast members was disappointing and confusing though.
I don’t mind change but the truth is, I’m just not laughing at these new guys. Acting silly does not automatically make something funny and in fact, can be plain annoying.
I wasn’t aware of the changes until mid-season. I watched on-demand to catch up and saw that Clemmie was gone!! There’s no way the replacements can maintain the momentum. It could be that we’re all idiots, as frizz suggested or it could be that a mistake was made! Frizz are you Lennon or Kenny? Have you noticed no one else on the entire page thinks this is an improvment?! p.s. No one mentioned
“Cindy”!! Now SHE is an improvement!!
“Cindy”!! Now SHE is an improvement!! Three thumbs up/
I’ll be watching ONLY season 1-5 as I have no interest in this new cast. Within 5 minutes I knew the magic was gone and that was before I realized the cast had changed. The new cast members add nothing and subtract far too much.
The show just is not magical anymore. Sorry Reno, you let us down.
It’s a very bad mistake letting those 3 cast member go…..
Tragic, because very little make me really laugh and this show before this season, did.
This new season is weak. Bring them back.
I really miss the old cast, I use to be a big fan of the show but once the new episode where aired I have not been able to get into the new season. I have stop watching the show ever since the changes in actors.
If they go to a Season 7, I think Lennon and Garant should write some hilarious scenerio on why Garcia, Clemmie & Kimball were gone but then they return. Bring all three actors back alive to the show. Then I’d start watching Reno again. But, thats probably not gonna happen.
Season 6 really is weirdly dull! I’d be real surprised to even see a Season 7.
I’ve been watching this season, and every episode just seems off. All of the jokes seem forced now, not sure if it’s the new cast or just how bad the writing is getting.
They also seem to redo the same type of jokes over and over now, way more then in the past.
I guess if they were trying to kill the show, then they figured out how to do it in a hurry.
It makes as much sense as taking Rue, Bea, and Estelle off Golden Girls. That show would have died just like Reno 911 is going to. Bless the new people’s hearts…what a stigma they will get stuck with. To the powers that be, reverse this mess as quick as you can before your audience is gone for good.
In a recent episode, the gang just fired Garcia’s ashes out of a cannon, or tried to, so I don’t think he’s coming back. Did they ever say how he died?
With the loss of Clementine, Reno 911! has definitely lost a viewer here.
She was by far the best character and needs to be brought back IMMEDIATELY.
Somebody blew it big time. Garcia and Clementine characters are missed. P.U. Good Comedy gone Bad.
Ian sucks man, why replace anyone with him. But overall,I still like the show even if it is slapstick and retarded.
the season is obviously more weak than previous, but I don’t think that’s the fault of Joe or Ian. I’ll say now though that I may have a bias because I LOVE UCB and pretty much any time Ian is on screen. the only time I thought he was weak this season was the part where he had a heart attack. Chris Farley kind killed the heart attack, so to speak.
Joe and Ian are both hilarious though, especially Joe’s “Yeah…I got a lotta experience
” moment. that was classic. definitely weaker but not horrible
Most surprising to learn the cast members leaving was not by choice. I can’t imagine the casting director thought the lineup change would be an improvement. Who would have thunk it… The show is now slow and predictable, the new characters have no magic and I have lost interest in the show. I don’t think I have made it through an entire episode yet this season. I miss the old characters but maybe the show has just run its course. I will be amazed if they try to milk it for another season.
I gave the new season a shot but it’s not nearly as good as season 1-5. Not sure how much blame falls on the new guys but even the scenes without them aren’t as good as previous seasons. Who knows, some shows just run their course. I do sorely miss Garcia. Clem and Kimball to a certain extent. We’ll see if they’ll milk out another season but season 6 is one I’ll soon forget.
I am just not laughing anymore when I watch this show. I had to post something on this somewhere. The “creators” created a gem and then, probably because of egos, seem to have destroyed it. Apparently the three people they got rid of were indispensable to the humor. It was a truly great show up to this season.
At 62, I’ve put in a lot of years in front of a tube. I’ve seen this mistake made by good shows, since Sid Ceasar fired Imagine Cocca (sp ?) in the 1950′s.
I loved Reno 911. The group has enormous talent and as high hisk comics they were continuing to grow. I’ve been watching Lennon and Kerry grow since that Sonny and Cher parody show they did about 10 years ago.
But, like Sid Ceasar, Andy Kaufmann, Jim Carey and a number of others, this high risk comic team seems to be taking its art too seriously.
Very much like Sid Ceasar, the group seems to want to take a creative move that its audience doen’t want. Their artistic desires are moving them faster than their audience is willing follow.
Their audience had grown a deep bond with all the flawed characters of The Reno Sheriff’s Department. We watched the show because we loved all of these hapless idiots.
As talented as they are, this team can’t just decide to kill my racist misanthropic Mexican who seethes with resentment and can’t speak Spanish. And my blowsey Clementine. Oh my darlin, Clementine. And, sort of sweet and deeply sexually repressed Kimball was just coming into her own. Her increasing need for affection seemed to be leading her to a point where she was going to start falling into bed with anyone, male or female, who gave her a swat on the backside and said, “come here.” Or so I was hoping.
I’m still healing from those Scientologist bastards yanking Chef off South Park.
I hope someone on their creative team reads this thread. They are wrong if they think they wern’t growing. Maybe, as an improv team they couldn’t feel the relationships between their characters was deepening.
The only bad episode of Reno 911 that I ever saw was that Victorian murder mystery thing. Before I knew that we had lost loved ones from the cast, I told my wife that it was the only time I saw them trying too hard and not hitting the target.
I’ve never seen a TV show correct this mistake. Try and get artists to admit they were wrong.
We didn’t blame South Park for losing Chef, but we do blame the cast of Reno 911 for the loss of three beloved characters and for doing harm to their fellow artists.
As much as we love their talent, they may have hurt this show to death.
I don’t even watch the show anymore. This new season is just plain NOT FUNNY! I miss the old cast. I don’t know why show executives like to ruin good things.
I’ve found it very difficult to watch this season. Every time Dangle, Junior, and Trudi appear on the screen, I’m instantly reminded that those three fired the other three. It’s a real buzzkill.
So depressing!!! What more can I say?
Like Sir-Smokes-A-Lot once said, “WHY!?!” I hate those three for doing this to the show. Garcia and Clementine brought far more to the table then their three characters did save Dangle. Everybody played off them. Without them ALL dynamic and humor is lost. I try to watch the show and only get through 5 min each episode. Stale characters, stale writing, forced humor, and poor improv. Great call Lennon, you effin prick
Season 6 has officially ended as of Wednesday, and with it the run may have well come to a close. I often watch Reno 911 and usually tape the episodes when they air, but to be honest, after giving this season a chance, most of those tapes and episodes have been dismissed.
I do not think I have sat down this season to watch an entire episode from start to finish. Reno 911 WAS an incredibly funny, fantastic show. Why were these choices made?
No offense to Joe and Ian, but they had incredibly big shoes to fill with the (forced) departures of Clemmy, Garcia and Kimball.
Throughout the WHOLE season, I was hoping that they were going to be writing some incredibly elaborate explanation for bringing all three back a few episodes in, but it’s very apparent now that will not be happening. The chemistry is just not there anymore.
Ian is fitting in okay…Joe is just incredibly awful and unfunny though. He just doesn’t fit in at all. He needs to be fired immediately.
I can understand letting Garcia go, I liked him but I felt that character had run it’s course.. but Kimball had unused potential and Clemmie was the heart of the show.
Sue me, but I love the 6th Season! I just received my DVDs on Friday, and I spent the entire weekend watching each show in the run – including commentary bonus features. Give it a chance guys… it’s really not bad at all. I could have done without the Murder Mystery episodes, but the rest are golden! I found myself laughing out loud A LOT! I too miss Clemmy, Garcia and Kimball. However, I will keep watching and supporting Reno 911. They still have really great comedic ideas!!!
I tried to give the new cast members a chance, but it’s just not working for me. Without Garcia (sorry dest, but he was my favorite and pretty hot), Clementine, and Kimball in the mix, it doesn’t mix well for me. I would love to know why they got rid of these characters.
Garcia was my favorite….No offense to the new guys, but i wish that Garcia, Clementine, and Kimball were back.
I agree with all above. I just got the season on DVD (No TV here in Germany so I always wait for the DVD’s) The new season sucks. I am on the third episode and I really want my money back. The new guys, especially the Jack character, really kills the show. Very, very dissappointed. Wht do all the good shows get screwed? (Arrested development, Reno, etc)??? I’m done with Reno, back to the old seasons!
From what I read it looks like Kerry Kinney was going to leave Reno 911 at the end of Season 5 to shoot a series for HBO. That would explain the one coffin on the series 5 finale and the other sheriff’s hats flying into the air and cheering since they always picked on the Trudi character. That scene was probably meant to make it into season 6 opener as a comical send off to Trudi dying.
But then HBO never picked up the series that Kinney shot so she must have wanted back in into Reno and they had to re-write the deaths at the Taco stand. But it looks like they did not even bother to re-write and just decided to kill off the Garcia, Clemmie, Kimball characters with little or no explanation.
I read somewhere Mary Birdsong was going to leave at the end of season 5 anyway but I can not figure out why the Alazraqui & McClendon parts (two of the most popular & FUNNY) were given the unceremonious boot from the show???? ( and apparently notified of the boot with just an e-mail!, yikes! after 5 seasons & and a movie together!?!?) Very curious to us die-hard fans.
I did laugh at some of season six, but to be sure, it clearly lacked the magic of the previous seasons (mainly 1-4). I don’t think I am even interested in seeing a season 7 unless they re-write the former characters back in with some funny explanation as to their absence.
That show is really dying without Clemmie and Garcia. Coulda survived without Kimball, although she was likable.
Somebody please tell the new Big guy that Farley had the heart attack pounding bit long before he did. Sheesh!
This is too bad. Now watch them all continue to try harder and harder, and get sillier and more profane to try and make up for the folks they fired!
I agree, this season is just not the same. Garcia, Clementine and Kimball were funny. I tried watching it, and it is just not the same. I was waiting for this season, now I don’t even care to watch it anymore. What the hell were they thinking? Reno 911 was one of the funniest shows on TV, they ruined it
i love the old seasons, dont get me wrong, but i like the new ones as well. i really miss clemmy, but i think joe is hilarious, as well as Ian roberts. I’d rather have the old cast back to be honest, but beggars cant be choosers i suppose…
Like everyone else, I HATE the new characters and miss Garcia and Clementine. And did you see that last episode; it didn’t even end on a cliff-hanger like all the previous seasons. It is obvious that even the writers of Reno 911 have give up on the show along with its fans.
Well I knew it would happen…its been cancelled!!! :@(
It is like the creators gave up on the show even before the new season started because it was clear their hearts and minds were not where they were in season 1-5.
I’m sure the loss of Garcia, Clemmie and Kimball helped drop the ratings.
Well, we always have re-runs and DVD’s
So long Reno 911! Thanks for all the laughs
I hate it when critics try to use big words to give the illusion they are intelligent and not a community college drop out. Joe Lo Truglio is not related to his former cast members from The State, so it would not be considered nepotism, but favoritism. Joe has worked with Lennon and Garant on many movies including Night at the Museum, Lets Go to Prison and Balls of Fury. So its not like they just called an unemployed friend. Roberts is a similar situation. Roberts was a co-creator of UCB, and gave Lennon and Garant minor roles here and there. They’ve even helped with the live show ASSSSSSSSCAT. Both guys are experienced improv actors which is a necessity on the show. They can be more than the other three stereotyped actors, Wendy = Slut, Mary = Lesbian, Carlos = Redneck. Their improv during the show did nothing but circle these character types and was very boring and predictable. It was refreshing to see new faces and new jokes, but I guess the show is over according to Lennon.
Yes, kickorguard
Stereotypes perhaps, but this series lasted five seasons and a motion picture with the “slut”, the “lesbian” and the “redneck” and was hilarious. Once they booted the slut, lesbian and redneck and added the “new faces” and “new jokes”…….the series was canceled!
So assuming you are not a community college drop out…. do the math!
No disregard to the talents of Ian Roberts or Joe Lo Truglio but season six…(no big words…) really SUCKED!
I loved Seasons 1-5, hilarious! I watched 3 or 4 episodes of Season 6 and it just was not as entertaining, more of a big yawn. I have nothing against the new characters, but the show changed drastically when the old cast was let go in favor of the new ones. I will continue watching Seasons 1-5 in reruns, but no point with Season 6.
I just started to view some of the Season 6 episodes and I have to agree the show is RUINED without Clemmy, Garcia and Kimball. I can’t believe they screwed up a good thing that was working so well. Why do they do stuff like that?
I really don’t enjoy it, probably won’t pursue watching it like I used to.
Reno 911 was a favorite in our household but without Clementine, Garcia, and Kimball, it isn’t a favorite any more. We watched one episode from the current season and have not gone back to watch another — and don’t plan to. The show is just not the same! What a shame.
I agree with Dawn — thank goodness we have reruns and DVDs of seasons 1 thru 5, and the movie. I have seasons 1 – 3 in my DVD collection and will purchase the movie and seasons 4 and 5 soon. As for season 6 — I’ll pass.
And now the show has been cancelled just a season after the cast changes. It’s as if the winning team switched to the prevent defense late in the 4th quarter… and lost.
Yes, agreed “Former Reno 911 Fan” Good call!
Too bad for the loss but we still have the re-runs and DVDs.
If anyone out there missed this show while on the air, check it out on re-runs and DVD, you may find it surprising clever and funny as most us fans do. We here are still laughing after seeing again and again.
What are the deputies doing now?????
Cedric & Carlos are still working the characters in stand up on the road. (We’ve seen them live and they are funny as hell, check out their web sites for dates) Wendi is entertaining the troops in Iraq (good for you Wendi) Tom Lennon seems to be the only one who Tweets regularly (the “Boot Goof”) and our girl Niecy is kicking it up with Dancing with the Stars(check her out and send in your vote!) We miss you Deputies of Reno 911.
Why do I have a feeling that some of the cast where jealous that we all loved seeing Clemmie on the screen so much. They couldn’t handle it.
Fucking bullsh*t, clemmie kept my boner strong.
We didnt all like Clemmie. She was pretty cool as a ho-bag, but she sucks the big one at improv. Everything that came out of her mouth looked and sounded so forced that it took away from the show somewhat. Kimball and Garcia (The station beaner) were an essential part of the dynamic, removing them killed the show. I dont remember laughing at anything Lo Trugilo or Roberts did on that show. From the season 6 finale, it was a sheer drop into the depths of crapness. Such a shame, as up until then, at any given moment, if you didnt know you were watching a Comedy Channel show, you genuinely could mistake a scene for Cops, until they got into the punchline.
You forgot to mention Jr., he was the best cast member….
Wendi,
i’d love you in any role. i loved you as clemmie the cute, profane, sexy, hot, goofy, sophisticated, zany and raw to the bone, blond bomber cop.
You are quite special in character and i have no doubt in person as well and honestly, I’m not sure of all the reasons I know these things. But, I know them.
