Uh-oh, “Reaper” creators sign deal with rival studio
Bad news for “Reaper” fans — the show’s creators just signed a deal with a rival studio, so it looks like the show’s fate has been sealed.
“Reaper” creators/executive producers Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have inked a two-year overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV.
Under the seven-figure pact, the duo will join a 20th TV series and develop projects for the studio.
Fazekas and Butters’ exclusive deal with 20th TV effectively seals the fate of their bubble CW series as it calls for them to leave “Reaper,” produced by ABC Studios, where the two had been based.
“Reaper” has been pretty good this season though with the late premiere date it was obvious that it was on the cutting block. Let’s just hope that Fazekas and Butters can wrap up the series properly instead of letting “Reaper” simply go dark. No one wants that.

Rats. I keep waiting for the episode where Sam looks at Andi through the glasses the Devil gave him last season, as sees that she’s a demon and he’s not. They made a reference to this when Gladys used her glasses to scan the infant last week. Man, I’ll be pissed if this never comes to fruition.
I hate network TV.
I’m still waiting for Sock and Ben to have a much-anticipated run-in with the Devil. I believe Ray Wise said it was coming in his Bullz-Eye interview last year.
Sock is actually starting to bug the shit out of me. And while his “stepsister” is smoking hot, that whole subplot does not work for me.
The creators will still remain involved with Reaper should it be renewed. They made sure when they signed their new contracts.

It really don’t matter weather Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters have decided to sign a contract with another company. Reaper should continue, Reaper is an awesome show with an awesome cast and Reaper is still far from over. I believe this show is awesome and brilliant and there are thousands of fans that think and feel the same way. I believe, no wait that’s wrong, We believe and wanted to see Reaper season 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12….and so on.
