Ain’t It Cool News got the scoop, but we’re not complaining: we’re just happy to hear the news that NBC will indeed be airing Episode 12 of “Journeyman.”
Here’s what their missive from show creator / executive Kevin Falls said:
Journeyman Fans–
NBC has decided to air the 12th episode (“Perfidia”) on Wednesday, December 19th at ten o’clock. That means our 10th episode will air on Monday the 10th (“Home by Another Way”), the 11th will air on 17th (“The Hanged Man”).
The decision to air the 12th episode had a lot to do with the passion of our fans through SaveJourneyman.net, the online petition and letters and emails to NBC executives.
And is it true you can vote once a day for the People’s Choice Awards?
There’s still no news on our long term future, but we can promise you this: three terrific episodes inside of ten days. Oh, yeah, and you’ll get some answers, too.
Your comments and pro-active attempts to save the show are very much appreciated by me and my fellow Executive Producer Alex Graves, Kevin McKidd and the cast, writers and crew. But more importantly, it’s working.
But don’t rest. We need you. We want a back nine–and beyond.
Thanks again,
Kevin Falls
Awesome news. Now, let’s all tune in for every one of these last episodes, shall we?

First off, great news.
But I’m again confused on the issue of the episode numbers. I’ve blogged 10 individual episodes already, which means there are 13 in total if there are 3 left to air. Does the pilot not count as an episode? Was a two-parter originally a 90-minute installment? Anybody got any ideas? Or is my math just really off?
My bet is that he’s not counting the pilot.
Showrunners are weird.
In any case, it’s great to know there are at least THREE episodes of JOURNEYMAN goodness to come. It all sounds very positive. I bet if the ratings are at all there for the last three (which could be tough; as Falls has pointed out, December isn’t a great TV month) something good might happen. It’s one thing for a show to go down in ratings, but NBC really should pay attention when all of a sudden a show’s got some renewed interest and is grabbing some new viewers.
It’s very late, and I should be sleeping, but: Yay!
Maybe I’m missing something, but I couldn’t find a way to sign the petition at the site you mentioned, so I did a search and found this petition to save “Journeyman.” Fans of the show should take a minute and sign it (and send the link to any of your friends that watch the show).
Television Without Pity and us over at Groundlings-Review have come up with a plan to try to send a message to NBC that there is a large audience for Journeyman.
The plan is on this Monday, December 3rd, to download the episode “Blowback” from iTunes and to watch as many episodes of Journeyman as possible on NBC.com. The hope is that if we can cause enough of a spike in their stats, that might make an impression that there is a large audience for this great show.
The reason we’ve chosen Monday is because Life is showing in Journeyman’s place on that day so we thought it would be a good time to send a message.

If you’re up for it, please spread the word too!
Thanks!

We have to mobilize to save this show. It is so true that the marketing for it was abysmal and it is actually NBC’s fault that it didn’t catch viewers. I completely abandoned CSI:Miami for Journeyman. CSI’s story is waning and Journeyman CAN overtake it in the ratings. This show is well written and the concept has a lot of seasons in it. I’ve emailed NBC and signed the petition…have you?
